From Our Oren Correspondent L J Andena of Hillsdale visited Marshall. Rev McVoy of Albion preached at the M church. D W C Durgin of Hillsdale College preached at the Presbyterian church. J N Westcott, former Homer merchant now in Ann Arbor, visited town. Arbor Day planted trees in the village school yard. Various locals including tradesmen, travels, and social visits are noted along with marriage notices and upcoming events in Battle Creek and surrounding areas.
