Dr Hunting Dies After Long Service
The Rev George F Hunting D D long served as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in this city and died at his east Mansion Street home Thursday at 4 am after months of illness. Born April 14 1836 in West Milton Vermont he pursued education at Castleton and the University of Vermont graduating 1860. He served in the Civil War and later became a minister in Kilbourne City Sparta Beaver Dam Kalama zoo Arms and Michigan teaching and founding a Presbyterian college at Arms. Funeral tomorrow at 1 pm at the Presbyterian Church with Rev F Z Rossiter and Rev Joseph Hamilton officiating. interment at Oakridge vault and possible later removal to Vermont. He belonged to Colegrove Post G A R and Marshall Commandery Knights Templar.
