Finley couple fund Kellogg Gold Key Scholarship in Battle Creek
Battle Creek residents Arthur J. Finley and Lucille B. Finley funded a Gold Key Scholarship at Kellogg Community College. Arthur, a Kellogg Company veteran who died in 2007, supported higher education. Lucille taught in district schools before moving to North Carolina. Their daughter Carole Edmonds, a Kellogg alumna, helped establish the award offering 5000 dollars to the recipient over two years and a further 1000 dollars for study beyond an associate degree. The scholarship honors the Finleys’ belief in accessible higher education.
