Marshall City Council expands industrial park with 80 acre purchase
The Marshall City Council approved an 80 acre land purchase from the John J. Quigley Trust along Old 27 to extend the industrial park south. LDFA will fund the $800,000 deal via a ten year land contract captured taxes, creating about 50 usable acres and 10 new lots with a wastewater loop, boosting park value without general tax dollars. The decision passed 7 to 0.
