May Come to Trial in $200,000 Maine Damage Suit
Defendants in a $200,000 damage suit brought by G. O. Maine fled their plea and notice Saturday. If it proceeds to trial in the May term, the case will cover all issues raised in the recent Maine cage affair. The plaintiffs filed a bond for costs on February end, and the other side entered their plea on the last day. County residents hope to see the case tried to end the cost disputes, though many fear another trip if the county must pay the bill.
