Young Man Drowns in Wabash River Near Hutsonville
Bert Mundon drowned Wednesday morning in the Wabash River about three miles south of Hutsonville while fishing near Turman creek. John Adams, also of Turman township, was in the skiff when Mundon fell holding a target rifle. Adams shouted for help but Mundon vanished beneath the river. local searchers and others dragged the water with crowfeet to recover the body.

Fred Snedeker son of Garrett and Alice Snedeker born August 11 1884 died September 7 1914. Survived by two brothers two sisters and many relatives. He grew to manhood on the family farm and was a faithful member of the Arm y church from age 15 despite hearing impairment. His daily life testified to his faith and he was a friend to many during his trials and troubles.
