The pot luck supper precedes his remarks on the first session of the 89th Congress and session highlights. The Scout Building on the Fairgrounds hosts the event. Deaths Two pastors and longtime residents remembered
The Rev. Charles William Bragg 60 pastor of the First Baptist Church of West Union died Monday at his home. He is survived by his widow Louise three daughters two brothers two sisters and 13 grandchildren. Services are 10:80 am Thursday at First Southern Baptist Church Hammond with burial at Chapel Lawn Memorial Park Schereville. William Earl Scott 77 of Marshall died Friday at Burnside Home. Survived by his wife five daughters four sons one brother fifteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral 2:00 pm Monday at Marshall Christian Church with interment at Ohio Cemetery.
