Night watchman Clifford Hickey was shot in the neck by a sawed off shotgun wielded by robbers who then forced Everett Ammerman into a cell and looted the First National Bank. About seven bandits cut telephone and electric lines, lowered the street light, and escaped with an estimated 15000 in cash and 500 in notes and bonds.
