Delay Mounts in Clark County Treasurer Race
The Clark County treasurer contest between Republican Kile MacWher ter of Martinsville and Democrat Harold Turner of Marshall, filed last November, was postponed to December 13 1963. A Charleston hearing, Turner represented by Lloyd Latendresse, led Judge Sunderman to schedule another hearing for Friday December 13. Turner had stated he would drag out the case through the four year term, following a recount showing MacWher ter ahead by 39 votes.

Henry Wallace of Crossville Illinois, president of the Wabash Valley Association, will speak on valley needs and resource development. Stolen Meter Recovered From Used Car Lot
A parking meter stolen last summer from in front of the Lawrence Hutchens pool room on North Sixth Street Marshall was found Thursday of last week on the Fitzgarrald Motors lot in weeds. The top was beaten in and 41 cents remained inside. the meter valued at 70 dollars.

Clark County Fair Board Sets Public Use Fees and Meeting Date
The Clark County Fair Board held its monthly meeting on Wednesday November 13. It discussed improvements in entries premiums and general department arrangements and set public use charges for fairground facilities at 15 for half day and 50 for full day excluding picnics or reunions. The board works with the Marshall Lions Club on youth building fees amid cost concerns. The Clark County Fair Association fixed January 8 for its annual meeting at Marshall high school cafeteria with a meal served prior to the 6 30 pm session.

Man Finds Deer After Collision on State Route One
William Marvin of West Union reports a deer collision near Grand Turn on State Route One around 10 30 AM. He loaded the deer, estimated 120 to 125 pounds, and delivered it to the Drake Loker plant after a pack of five hounds chased the animal.

Freddie Williamson died Tuesday afternoon in Gary Indiana. He was the son of the late Mabel Strohm Williamson of West Union. Burial will be in Gary today at 3:00 p.m. Rev Arnold Olsen county crop chairman led a kick off meeting at Martinsville with large attendance. Workers are hauling corn to designated receiving plants and corn has been provided for shipping.
