State highway bonds sell at premium for first time
A group led by the National Bank of New York sold $8,020,000 state highway bonds for $6,096,100, yielding a premium of $96,100 and a rate of 101.60. Governor Small praised the result saying the bonds are a safe security and proceeds will be immediately applied to construction needs.
