James W. McGowan a former Marshall area grocer who ran a shop in the Baird building corner Seventh and Archer Avenue died Tuesday at 1 00 pm in Paris hospital after a long illness. He is survived by one son Carl of Wilmette Illinois and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday at Cook Ward Funeral Home Paris with burial in Edgar Cemetery.
