Crow school house burns near West in 1930 report
In a 1930 item, the Crow school house near West in Union was destroyed by fire on Friday night. Leroy McNary county clerk traveled to Rolla Missouri on Saturday to recover his Ford sedan stolen a week earlier from in front of the high school. Arthur Johnson, an architect and portrait painter in New York City and Marshall Township High School alumnus, plans a June Europe trip visiting France England and Italy. Everett Black returns from Houston Texas after a year’s work. John Graham dies at home Sunday after illness and is buried at Olive Branch cemetery Tuesday.
