Glover Well Drilling Advances in Marshall Field Area
Rotary rig on the Glover land in the Marshall field is drilling below 1200 feet and expected to complete in days after delays from high water and a cave in. A pipeline to the National road will feed a 1000 barrel tank at Martinsville for tanker transfers. A. J. Slater Oil Co. has taken over Minchie Mae Murphy and other leases and will lead a vigorous campaign when weather allows.

On Tuesday March 14 at 7 30 p m a Civil Air Patrol meeting will be held at Ralph Prevo s Garage Marshall for aviation lovers. The CAP is a U S Air Force auxiliary formed in 1942 to assist coastal patrols and train cadets aged 15 to 18.
