Judge Morton W. Thompson, a circuit judge in this district from 1902 to 1915, died Friday at his Chicago home from heart disease after years of illness. Much of his life was spent in Danville before retirement to Chicago where he worked with his brother, a renowned restaurant manager. He would have turned 60 next May.

Bank Robbery at Jewett Strikes Local Bank
