Woman killed crossing Archer Avenue in Marshall
Elsie Clatfelter sixty, employee of Tom's Cafe Marshall, was struck by a passenger car on Archer Avenue while crossing homeward, died instantly. John Britain of Paris drove the car with Leland Wilhoit Marie Hall and Elvina Wyrick of Paris and Danville as passengers. Inquest returned death by injuries from being struck. Britain jailed on charges of leaving the scene and transporting intoxicating liquor. Funeral held at Marrs Funeral Home with burial in Marshall cemetery.
