At a Chamber of Commerce meeting Formalite Inc officials discussed locating a 15 000 square foot factory on land owned by the Chamber. They proposed a 15 year lease with rent covering taxes insurance and depreciation to yield a 5 percent return, with a cap of 75 000 for building and land. Training for Marshall personnel would occur at Chicago plants, and salaries would be paid during training. Groundbreaking targeted for March 2 with operations by June 1 1953. trustees named to manage any building fund and trust certificates proposed in 50 00 denominations.
