Death of Mrs Gilbert of Wabash Township
Mrs John W Gilbert died at her home in Wabash township after a long illness from consumption. Funeral services were held at the family residence, conducted by Rev A B Cochnower, with interment in Taylor cemetery. Joretta M Taylor born near Marshall March 8 1861 married to John W Gilbert June 3 1880. Survived by husband five sons three daughters one brother two sisters and many relatives. She joined Cumberland Presbyterian church at Oak Grove in youth then the Methodist church for life.
