A Ohio parolee Norman Setzer left his car with the key in it near the St James Hotel in Marshall. A 22 year old seized the vehicle and headed south to Robinson where police arrested him. Marshall Chamber of Commerce Met On January 8
The Marshall Chamber of Commerce board met Tuesday January 8 in the first meeting of the year. President Owen Flowers chaired the session. minutes were read by Secretary Fred Blundell. The group planned cooperation with the Clark County Soil and Water Conservation District and discussed tax reform meetings set for January 14 and 21. The board supported locating a new lane along the existing right of way on highway 40 and Interstate 70 and urged neighboring chambers to consider similar resolutions. It also backed school facility needs for local students, and voted to cooperate with a proposed community art show likely in June.
