Drownings Reported In Florida Lake Placid Fishing Trip
Adam Liffick a 71 year old winter visitor from Crown Point Indiana drowned on a fishing trip in Lake Henry near Lake Placid Florida. He was with a companion Lawrence Hollenbeck of West Union Route 12 who left the boat briefly and found it empty on return. Rescue squads recovered the body about 8 15 p.m. Dr N B Tylar certified drowning. Burial set in Crown Point Calumet Cemetery with services December 26. Liffick survived by wife Jane two daughters a son two brothers three sisters seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
