Miss Mary Cuningham of Marshall was seriously injured Christmas Eve when the car she rode in struck a rear truck on Route 41 north of Terre Haute and she was taken to Union Hospital. A daughter Penny Lynn Beuchter was born December 4 to Mr and Mrs William Beuchter of Vincennes. Jessie E. Claypool, 87, died at Paris Hospital. Survived by two sons two brothers and other relatives. funeral Friday at 10 AM at Marrs Funeral Home with Rev James M Watkins and Marshall cemetery burial.

Hugh Brown of Walnut Prairie died Saturday from injuries received the previous day when struck by an automobile. He suffered severe internal injuries and his death resulted.
