Bert Bryan 67 cashier at the Dulaney National Bank died at his sister Mrs. Will Hogue home following three weeks of malaria fever and heart trouble. He had served the bank 27 years and was survived by his parents and two brothers. Directors expressed surprise at the sudden death and funeral plans were pending for tomorrow or Friday.

Lucius Gridley Dies After 41 Years in Treasury Service
Lucius E. Gridley aged 71 and a longtime Treasury Department employee in Washington died there on Wednesday after a period of good health. Born January 5, 1849 in Hillsdale Michigan he attended the G A R reunion in September at Indianapolis and later visited Marshall. He is survived by his sister Mrs Joe Hutchinson of this city and was buried in Arlington Cemetery.

Martin Newlin of Annapolis born February 16 1835 in Crawford County Illinois. He lived on a farm, married Emma J Hilland in 1863 and had children Alice Nellie John William Henry. He remarried Angie Piety in 1885. Funeral services were held at Mt Pleasant cemetery after a home service.
