Delay Funeral for Walnut Coffins Delayed Woman Interment
The funeral of Mrs. A ton Weineke of Edwardsville Illinois was delayed until a coffin could be carved from a walnut tree on the couple’s home place. The walnut was cut from their farm years ago and processed into caskets after being planed. Mrs. Weineke aged seventy seven and her husband eighty years old.
