The vacant school is progressing under Miss Bertha Lin tbuanels. Luther Linhaud went to Perry County last Friday to begin teaching. R T Propet is right sick at this writing. Aunt Cholly.
Residents report visits and travels across Tennessee and nearby towns. Church services drew large crowds under Rev Barrett while farming activity, school progress, and family movements mark the week.
Mike Abraham, the traveling merchant, was in the locality last week. Sam Whitener pastures 75 to 80 cattle on W G Kitchen's farm awaiting market improvement. Juan Moyers and family visited John Davenport Sunday night. Yollie Biffle remains at the cane mill of Wmn Killian. Union Light protracted meeting closed with about twenty conversions. Liberty church service begins Saturday. Teachers attended Marble Hill association and reported a very interesting meeting. Ada Stady traveled to Patton. Some farmers baled their day. A debating club will form at Barber schoolhouse Friday with teachers também considering a reading circle for Crooked Creek township.
