Lowie Mayer and son of Marble Hill paint Engr. Wm. Grimsley’s new homes near Zaima. The sawmill briefly operated. Jobo McKee recovered from typhoid and was out. R. James bought the Seabaugh hotel and is settled in. Dr. Wm. Lages moved into the property vacated by R. James. Hugh Girchey, longtime resident, died last Thursday and was buried in Union Hill cemetery. Mail service remains poor with letters delayed two to three days.—C. Coox.
