HM Huskey reports Mrs George Rugel ill Sunday but improved. Miss Birtie Dale of Latesville visited May and Nellie Huskey. Rev John Stone preached at Locust Grove. Andrew Bailey visited friends in Latesville. B H Rameey moved into the Bailey house. T L McGraw of Belmont visited recently to check on this matter.
Mrs Mary L Shanks wife of Franklin Shaoka died at her Millersville home October 17 1902. She leaves a husband two children and many relatives. Remains interred in Bailey cemetery October 18. Phelps Bros have lumber on ground for a storehouse near the post.

The ad touts DeWitt branding and gentle bowel movement with tonic liver effects.
Heavy eating is listed as the first cause of indigestion with repeated attacks inflaming the stomach lining and causing heartburn, sour taste, and fullness. Dr. S. M. McAnally promotes EKodol as a remedy to cleanse and sweeten stomach glands and relieve dyspepsia.
