Forman high school agriculture department hosts a corn picker safety meeting on Tuesday night September 29 at 7 30 P M C S T. W D Masters urges proper adjustment lubrication and stopping the tractor engine during maintenance. Local dealers will demonstrate adjustments and safety precautions. Former Manito Man Dies In Peoria

Roy Franklin Ide 62 of 911 Prince, Sr., died September 19 1953 at Methodist hospital Peoria after a nine month illness. Funeral services were held in Pekin Tuesday at 2 30 p m. He was born in Green Valley son of Daniel and Ida Ide and moved to Manito young. He married Florence Zimmerman in Pekin December 5 1915 and survives with a sister Mrs Daisy Goldsmith Temperiz and brothers Oscar Ide Detroit Charles Ide Coatsville and Henry Ide Pekin.
