Death of George Skaggs at Forestry City Community
George Skaggs 49, of the Forestry City community, died suddenly Friday evening after finishing work for Roy White and Son. He collapsed while speaking with Mr and Mrs White. Dr Gayalai pronounced him dead. Funeral arrangements were handled by Johnson Funeral Home, with last rites in Mason City. Survived by widow and children Charles, James, Coretta, Lois, Betty, Rosa, and Robi. The family moved from Fulton County in March 1950, first living in the Coon Grove area before relocating to the farm once owned by Mr and Mrs Ed White.
