The Woman's Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church plans an Oct 2 meeting at 7 30 p m in the church parlor. Mrs Theo Bender conducts worship service with Mrs J D Powell in charge of the program and Mrs Ha Willet at the piano. Hostesses are Mrs Pauline Woodley and Mrs Mae Parkins. Members urged to attend and public invited.
Locals Mr and Mrs Harry Rankin and two children of Ft Worth arrived at the former's mother's home Mrs Jennie Rankin Monday evening for a vacation visit Register Oct 7. Mr and Mrs George Ethell and daughter have returned from a vacation trip to Sacramento Calif where they were house guests of Mr and Mrs Nelson Palmer.
