Two Pumps Going At Spring Lake Station Now
Paul Woods, in charge of the Spring Lake Pumping Station, reports two 30 inch pumps in operation driven by four six cylinder Caterpillar Diesel engines. They pump 45 000 gallons per minute, roughly offsetting water seepage. An 80 000 gallon per minute single pump is expected to be in operation within ten days.
