Mrs. Warner aged 69 of Manito died after years of illness. She married Henry Warner in Pekin on November 18 1909 and is survived by two sons George Varna and Everette Lincoln a daughter Christina Tillman Peoria a sister Mrs Frank Moore Pekin 12 grandchildren and many relatives. Funeral services 2 p.m. Saturday at St Pauls Lutheran Church with Rev Lester H Kuker officiating. Burial Meadow Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday afternoon and evening and at the church after 10 a.m. Saturday.

John Warfst Alett of Boston was named county corn growing champion at a Bloomington banquet honoring Central Illinois champions. Ten Make Trip To John Deere Factory
Ten area men traveled yesterday to the John Deere factory in Waterloo Iowa leaving Manito early Wednesday morning. They rode the Rock Island Rocket from Peoria to Waterloo and joined about 200 visitors at the John Deere Supervisor's club for dinner. The group returned to Manito by train arriving about 11 p.m. A March 6 trip is planned.
