FFA Boys See Chicago Livestock Show on School Trip

Forman FFA members and their instructor Mr. Masters traveled by bus to Chicago on November 28 22 to visit the International Livestock Show. They toured the Institute of Science and Industry the Congress Hotel Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium rode an elevated train through Swift and Co. packing plant and attended the Livestock Show and W L S National Barn Dance before returning home Sunday afternoon.

Fellowship Supper At Manito Methodist Church Dec 14

Wilmington Visit For Mr and Mrs Glenn Ttalbott

Mr and Mrs Glenn Ttalbott drove to Wilmington on Sunday and were guests of Mr and Mrs George Clemetz and their son. First Snow Brief Covers Ground Snow and December Mood

The ground was covered with wet snow on Monday as streets stayed slippery all day. By night two inches of snow blanketed the area with trees and shrubs coated, creating a Christmas atmosphere early in December.

Spring Lake Joy Class Spreads Thanksgiving Cheer to Elder Class

The Joy Sunday School class of Spring Lake Church led by Mrs. Maude Golden visited Grant and Louella Endicott homes last Tuesday. They shared gifts from the girls, sang choruses, offered testimonies and prayer, and read Psalm 96 for Thanksgiving cheer.
