Manilla Farmers and Settlers Association meet
The Manilla Branch of the Farmers and Settlers Association met at the Mechanics Institute. President L Bowman spoke on the Tamworth District Council meeting of June 24 and the Spastic Centre Council appointment. A £3 3s donation to the Centre was decided. Water trough work at the Manilla yards was moved to a position for shared sheep and cattle use. A letter of appreciation for R A O Neill and R J Doolan was approved. A conference resolution urged amalgamation of NSW Farmers and Settlers Association and the Graziers Association, with mixed views on the plan.
