Tamworth firm conducts weekly public auctions of sheep and cattle at Tamworth Sale Yards beginning at 10 o'clock each Monday. With 40 years of Tamworth experience, their seasoned salesmen and stockmen ensure reliable results for consignors, handling all classes of stock and property by private treaty as well.
A charity drawing notice lists congratulations to Mr and Mrs I M Glover on a newborn son, and to Mr and Mrs Campbell and daughter Janet after returning from a holiday at Katoomba. It mentions an Austin A40 valued at £900, plus prizes for a raffle supporting a new recreation ground. Tickets cost £1, promoter C O Ghys.

Notice from Shire of Mandowa under Local Government Act 1948 announces intent to grant a five year lease for the road from Trunk Road 63 to Manilla River in Upper Manilla Parish Tarpoly County Darling. A gate and tram will be erected at the trunk road intersection. Written objections must be sent within one month to Shire Clerk J Coates at Manilla Shire Office dated 22 February 1952.
Mandowa Shire Council invites written objections to a proposed gate and ramp at Manilla Guinedale lower road within portion 119 Parish Dove County Darling about 40 chains from the south west corner. Manilla Municipal Council posts notice that two rams numbered 90 and marked M W are in the Manilla Pound after impounding from Borah crossing. They are not released and will be sold at 12 noon on Thursday March 6 1952. Poundkeeper A J Fletcher signs the notice on February 28 1952. Newsagent C N Scott of Webster Jack and McDonald will visit Manilla March 6 with appointments through Mr. G Steel.
Applicants must hold the Intermediate Certificate or its equivalent and include age education standard and two references with applications due by Monday 17 March 1952.
