Leon Maddox a nine year old Austell resident publishes and edits an eight page newspaper called The News. He creates wood stamps for words and illustrations and writes pages with a pencil. The paper focuses on sports society and politics and sells for five cents.
A 19th century observer recalls Halleys comet with its fiery tail seen every about seventy five years and Isis comet with a 200 million mile tail that nearly touched the sun. The writer invites readers to visit and see how Artesian Sodas are made without secrets.
