The October meeting of the Silver City Woman's Club was held Tuesday afternoon in the Methodist church parlors with 18 members and 18 guests. Schmidt family confirms 3rd generation on Anderson Farm

Overheated Fat Causes Burns in Kitchen Fire
Mrs. Michard Pass received painful burns Thursday while cooking when overheated fat sparked a kitchen blaze. In attempting to move the fire out, Mrs. Bass burned her right hand more severely. A fire extinguisher stopped the flame, limiting damage to floor, cupboards, and walls. Burns are healing and neighbors wish her a speedy recovery.
