Mr and Mrs Carroll Stogdill and Miss Faye Wilhelm united in marriage at United Methodist Church Macedonia on September 3. The couple's families hosted a reception and dance with attendees from Macedonia, Omaha and nearby towns. Bride Lori Trowbridge was maid of honor. groom and attendants wore burgundy tuxedos. After a wedding trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls they reside in Bellevue where groom serves at Offutt Air Force Base and bride works as a registered nurse.

Otha Wearins Attends National Farm Show
Mr. and Mrs. Otha D. Wearin returned Thursday from a two day National Farm Show in Washington Iowa. They were guests of the Wallace Homestead Book Company of Des Moines which published Wearins new book Grass Grown Trails the fourth volume in a series of essays on early day Midwest country and small town life. Wearin joined about a dozen other town authors to autograph copies of their books.
