Terry Jones Bridal Shower Wonogale Sunday

Miss Terry Jones bride elect of Karl Hertz was honored at a miscellaneous shower Sunday afternoon at St John’s Lutheran Church. Thirty six guests enjoyed the game 50 with prizes to Donna Knop Lenore Hertz and the honoree. Tables featured red streamers and candles with artificial white poinsettias.

Car Slides Down Ditch Injuring One Person

Sunday near Glenwood a small foreign car driven by Arthur J. Pederson lost control and slid into a ditch. Pederson escaped injury while passenger Doug suffered a bruised knee.

Student robbed at Maryville Iowa college dorm

Larry L Williams, a NW Missouri State sophomore at Maryville, reports four Iowa students suffered losses when a thief entered Douglas Hall. Williams lost two watches a ring a bedspread and other items valued at 215 dollars while Roger D Vanatta lost a radio. Williams notes similar thefts occurred last year.
