Kath leen Bowen and Patrick Doyle wed at St Patricks Catholic Church Imogene in a 730 ceremony officiated by Rev Daniel Delehant. The bride daughter of Floyd D Bowen Hastings wore white nylon organza with lace panels and an elbow veil. The groom son of Mrs Edward Doyle Imogene, was attired in blue velvet tuxedos with a double ring ceremony and reception to follow. Guests included family from Hastings Shenandoah Red Oak and Emerson with DAR slide presentation after luncheon and a trip to St Louis following the reception.

BPW Helps Rape Education Topic At Club Meeting
Malvern BPW Club met November 10 at 7 p.m. with 21 members present for a pot luck supper. Dottie Graham led the program on rape information, with Merie Brown Mills County Sheriff as guest speaker. New business included baking cookies for the July alumni reception and starting bingo games to raise library funds. Next meeting December 8 will be the Christmas party and new member initiation.
