All Year Roads for All Iowa Counties By 1935
Iowa considers a 100 million bond plan to pave 4933 miles of primary roads and gravel 1732 miles. If approved in November, funds from gas tax motor licenses and federal aid would retire bonds and cover maintenance. The program aims to connect counties with a continuous band of paving, reaching every county by road.
