Small Cyclone Strikes Near Strahan Causes Wide Damage
Harry Conrad reports a miniature cyclone near Strahan Tuesday, striking three miles southeast where Earl Conrad and family lived. The storm tore off a cave extension, wrecked the barn and other outbuildings, but the main house avoided serious damage and no injuries were reported. Weather seems localized to that area.

Miss Frances Benton entertained Monday evening at a house party honoring Mint Margaret Carney of Fort Smith Arkansas. Carney, a former Stephens College for Women classmate, had visited since Sunday and left Tuesday. Guests enjoyed games dancing and a feature anchoring favors and partners. Refreshments included salad sandwiches cocoa ice cream wafers with out of town guests present.
