St Johns Ladies Aid Silver Anniversary Observed

The Hastings St John’s Lutheran Couples Club held a Sunday event with a 6 pm potluck dinner. Festive church parlor decorations were arranged by Mr and Mrs Jack Williamson and Mr and Mrs Creighton Miller. President Mrs Elsie Bruce led the business meeting and chairpersons for 1977 were elected, Janie Menschel and Grace Leipold. A guest, Alfred, provided entertainment.

Mrs Triveley Hostess To LTN Christmas Meeting
LTN annual Christmas dinner meeting held at Mrs Ray Trively's home on December 1 with help from her daughters Mrs Ellison and Mrs Volz. A short business session led by President Mrs Ralph Bower included a roll call on Christmas customs. Members approved sending four poinsettias to an ill member, decorated the home for the season, and distributed gifts from the tree.
