Rev Charles Grooms his wife and two children along with Brenda Dwight Dave and Jan Highfill of Red Oak perform inspirational pieces from Great Songs of Faith and Heritage. Grooms formerly led Mt Rushmore era ministry and now serves at Red Oak First Baptist. Highfills are Ottawa University graduates who moved to Red Oak in 1975. Public invited to attend.

A Bicentennial era social gala the Louisiana Purchase Costume Ball will be held at Peony Park in Omaha on Friday April 30 at 9 p.m. The Eddy Haddad Orchestra will play and the 2nd Maryland Regiment of Foot hosts the event organized by the Midlands Riverfront Bicentennial Alliance. Proceeds from a four dollar admission go toward regional Bicentennial activities with tickets available at Brandeis offices or through county chairmen.
