Faculty Dames walked a pleasant route on Thursday April 14 visiting multiple homes for a traveling dinner. The event began at Bob Behrens house with crackers and juice before moving to Butch Mansfield's for the main course.

Sylvia Klanis reports a joint Mills County Legion and Auxiliary meeting in Henderson on April 7 with district and department leaders present. Attendees included Avis Becker, Ross Becker, Marjorie Brown, Dean Brown, Sylvia Klonis, Doug Williams, Rae Dell Williams, Don Williams, Judy Williams, Gladys Evans, Della Kauffman, and Ora Smith. A potluck supper preceded the session as Commander Williams opened the meeting.

Senior Band Parents To be Guests at Tea

The annual tea honoring Senior Band Parents will be held at the high school on Tuesday April 26 at 8 p.m. For the first time music and drama students grades 7-12 will also be recognized with awards earned in 1976 77. Entertainment by Music and Drama Departments and refreshments will be served. The public is invited. Please mark your calendar.

Organ and Piano Recital by Mrs. Perkins at Malvern Church

Mrs. Gary Perkins presents her organ and piano pupils in a Sunday recital at 3 p.m. on April 24 at the Baptist church in Malvern. The public is invited. Also, the Book and Study Club meets Tuesday April 26 at 8 p.m. at Mrs. Harley Stevesson's home with a lesson by Mrs. J F Wearin Jr.

St John Ladies Aid Plans Southwest Spring Rally

St John s Lutheran church Ladies Aid met April 13 with 19 members present. Terry Hertz joined, and plans were made to host the Ring Rally of the So West Zone Lutheran Jo iues League on Friday April to feature Rev Emmanuel Grantgon of Ghana as speaker. A salad luncheon will be served at noon as Grace Seipold and Ella Henderson led devotions and refreshments were provided at closing.

Deborah Society Plans Bake Sale and Pot Luck Supper

Baptist Deborah Society guests of Virginia Hall on April 13 held devotions led by Phyllis Frederickson. Members voted to sponsor an all church bake sale on April 23 at Larrys Hardware starting 9:30 a.m. proceeds fund storm windows and the Sheltered Workshop. A Mother's Day potluck is set for May 11 at Virginia Hall with Bonita Maun hosting the May 11 afternoon meeting.
