Spotlight on the Social Scene Bride and groom wed in Council Bluffs ceremony

Jacqueline Kay Cushman and Myron Lee Morrical married Friday at Salem United Methodist Church in Council Bluffs. The double ring ceremony featured 7:30 p.m. vows officiated by Reverend Laurice Streuffler. The bride is the daughter of Earl Cushman and Harold Morrical of Hastings. The groom is the son of Harold Morrical and Miss Amy Bruce of Emerson. The event included a reception at the church and a wedding dance at Danish Hall. The couple will reside in Hastings after a short honeymoon.

Basses Return From Convention and Vacation

Officers Elected at BPW Club Meeting

Malvern BPW Club met April 14 for a progressive dinner at the homes of Ida Bess Dixon, Marian Jones, Vera Cronkhite and Erna LaSala. Officers elected were Virginia Conner president Roberta Austin vice president Joan Helmick secretary and Erna LaSala treasurer. Spring District Meeting set for April 20 in Bedford and a Senior Tea planned for May 6 at the high school.
