Gates to Build 150000 Power Plant at Lava Falls
H V Gates of Prineville announces construction of a $150000 power plant at Lava Falls on the Deschutes six miles south of Bend. The plant, to be completed within a year, will supply Bend Laidlaw Redmond and Prineville with 24 hour current and about 2000 horsepower.
