Assailant of Taxi Driver Not Captured Near Rushville
Late Sunday morning a taxi driver named Clarence A. Merritt was robbed and shot in the woods a mile north of Rushville. The assailant, described as a thug, fled with the car after leaving Merritt to feign death and endure further kicks.
