Nina Lamkin will headline a farm pageant at the Decennial Celebration in DeKalb. The event gathers more than a thousand Illinois farm residents acting in a pageant produced by the Farm Bureau. Legion Circus to Open Monday Weeklong Fun at Fair Grounds
The American Legion carnival opens Monday at the Fair grounds with the Great Patterson Shows providing a full week of entertainment. Mrs Richard Williams of Joplin Missouri and her five year old son LeRoy were taken to Hannibal by taxi after the mother posed as the boy’s aunt at a rooming house. The father left for Joplin to seek a writ of habeas corpus as the divorce decree allowed custody to alternate between parents. May Breakfast for Triangle Class at Waterworks Parsonage
