Eighty six take teachers exam in McDonough County

A report on the March 23 teachers examination in McDonough County shows more young teachers and fewer experienced ones. Of eighty six candidates for a Certificate, less than half passed. twenty seven of seventy six passed the second grade exam. Some certificates will be issued in other counties and several examinees are already teaching. Three of six first grade testers passed, with one already teaching.
