Tragedy Near Adair As Woman Is Killed By Train
A 34 year old unmarried woman Miss Leighty was killed by a northbound Burling train near Adair as she walked along the tracks toward the Farm land stores. Witnesses said she stepped onto the tracks. witnesses and an inquest concluded death resulted from self destruction in a line of tragedy near the business section. The jury returned a verdict of death by own action.
