Pupil fifth and sixth graders under Miss Hester Sexton complete artistic Easter egg art. Egg babies and many painted eggs with crepe hats are displayed in the Sexton Cafeteria window. W N Sexton offers three prizes per grade for top outfits. Judges will evaluate the display tomorrow afternoon.
Rushville April 14 Miss Armina Swayze resigns as superintendent of Culbertson hospital and plans marriage to Karl Farrar. Laura Kerr succeeds to the nursing post and begins duties after completing studies in X ray work.
The Bardolph News notes the Macomb Daily By-Stander now uses a Goss press and appears improved in appearance. The paper has been enlarged to a seven column sheet, marking progress and prosperity for the neighbor.
Bardolph Community High School will host a Tuesday evening declamatory contest to choose a representative for the county contest on April 22. Participants perform music and readings including Winsome pieces and selections from Montgomery and Tarkington, with winners advancing to the county stage.
Mrs. Anna Clickstein, widow of prominent Brooklyn physician Dr. Abraham Glickstein, was shot by Mrs. Lillian Raizen and found dead in front of her home. This follows a December killing of the doctor and his mother’s death on viewing his body, marking a third death in the series.

Thirty two couples attended the Elks dance last evening as Campbell's Orchestra played a pleasing program of music.
Chicago committees mark May 1925 as Boys Week to boost adult interest in boys, emphasize education, safety, health, and organized play. The program features a parade, athletic meets, school assemblies, factory talks, and box talent entertainment to spotlight boys needs without fundraising.
The Teachers College hosts a tri community track meet tomorrow afternoon featuring Bardolph Colchester and Adair schools. Each school enters two men per event with all standard events on the program. Bardolph lists eleven entrants for the meet.

Salvation Army and Red Cross provide care as townspeople report 700 homeless and groceries depleting with the river threatening rail service and a fragile bridge.
